Launching its new collection of Daytime TV artifacts, the Smithsonian's Museum of American History welcomed "Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek, "All My Children" star Susan Lucci, and Kathy and Phil Parker, co-creators of "Barney and Friends" to a special ceremony May 9, 2013. Each donated several items from their iconic shows. Trebek spoke of the cultural importance of Daytime TV, and Lucci recalled the night she won the Best Actress Emmy--after 18 failed nominations.
